Small Group Classes

Matwork Classes

Classical Matwork (all levels)

Rooted in the Classical Pilates repertoire and inspired by the Jay Grimes lineage, this all-levels Matwork class brings you back to the foundations of the method - precise, intentional movement that builds strength, mobility, control and body awareness. You’ll move through a thoughtfully sequenced series of traditional Pilates exercises, designed to challenge your powerhouse, improve alignment, and support healthy, efficient movement patterns.

Modifications and progressions are offered throughout, making this class accessible for beginners while still providing depth and challenge for experienced practitioners.
Expect a focused, technique-driven class that honours the original work - simple, effective, and deeply rewarding for your whole body.

Matwork + Small Props (all levels)

This mat-based class incorporates all the key principles of Pilates such as postural alignment, breathing, core stability, controlled movement and flexibility. Small props are used to refine technique, modify, intensify or progress an exercise.

Small props featured in this class: Magic Circle, Foam Roller, Mini Stability Ball, Toning Balls and resistance bands.

Functional Matwork + Mobility (all levels)

This class combines the precision of Pilates, functional movement and mobility training to restore balance, control and ease of movement. Expect a full-body experience that strengthens and lengthens while improving joint range, spinal articulation, and dynamic flexibility.

Through mindful sequencing and breath, you’ll build stability and support in the core while freeing tension in areas that tend to feel tight or restricted - hips, shoulders and spine. The result is smoother, more fluid motion both in and out of class.

Perfect for anyone looking to move with greater strength, freedom and awareness.

Equipment Classes

Introduction to Pilates (beginner)

This class is for those new to Pilates or those who would like to return to the basics and refresh their skills. Each class will work the full body at a slow pace to allow for each exercise to be executed with integrity and precision.

You will learn how to set-up the equipment, proper body positioning and good movement mechanics while exploring fundamental and beginner exercises on the Mat, Reformer and the Tower.

Healthy Aging Pilates (beginner)

Healthy Aging Pilates, a specialized class designed to support and enhance the health and well-being of individuals aged 65 and older. This class is thoughtfully crafted to accommodate the unique needs of seniors, including those with osteoporosis, arthritis and joint replacements such as hips and knees. Our aim is to provide a safe, gentle and effective workout that promotes strength, flexibility and overall vitality.

In this class, you will engage in a series of low-impact Pilates exercises that focus on improving core strength, balance and mobility. Each movement is carefully selected and modified to ensure it is safe for individuals with varying levels of fitness and health conditions. Our experienced instructors are trained to offer personalized guidance and adjustments to accommodate your specific needs and limitations.

Reformer Progression (level 1/2)

This class is for those who are strong beginners and are slowly moving into our intermediate classes. Each class will work the full body at a slow-to-moderate pace to allow for each exercise to be executed with integrity and precision.

Mixed Apparatus (level 1/2)

The Mixed Apparatus class combines exercises from the Matwork repertoire with the Reformer and its accessories, the Tower, the step barrel and a wide variety of Matwork props. This class will help to continually challenge your body and increase your fitness level in a safe methodical way without ever feeling repetitive or boring.

Tower + Matwork Control (level 1/2)

This class will incorporate the Mat and the use of the Tower (also known as the Cadillac Wall Unit) to enhance the connection of the core and integrate the limbs into the body while building strength. The use of springs will be used to support and assist the entire body in such ways that you will feel strengthened, lengthened and connected to your core.

Reformer + Matwork Control (level 1/2)

This class weaves together Matwork and Reformer to build a deeper connection to your body - developing awareness, alignment and control. The Mat reveals where strength, support and mobility are needed, while the Reformer challenges and refines those patterns through resistance and flow.

Reformer Flow (level 2)

A continuous, dynamic class focused on transitions and building flow from one exercise to the next. Designed to help you get more out of your practice, with minimal rest and a steady pace throughout. Participants must be confident setting up their own Reformer and have a solid understanding of the exercises and equipment.
